TESDA offers CACW certification for workers

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), once again released a memorandum on a Free Assessment and Certification for Workers (CACW) open to all workers currently employed or engaged in livelihood jobs that are not yet certified or has not availed the CACW program in the past years.

Carlito F. Quintano, the Acting Provincial Director of TESDA-Bohol says, “TESDA-Bohol needs applicants for assessment in different sectors, Tourism, Health & Social, Automotive and Land Transportation, Electrical and Electronics, Metals and Engineering and Construction”. He added that, “Industry workers should avail of the free competency assessment for we only have limited slots for the second quarter of 2018 and that eligible applicants must have at least one year employment certificate with them”.

Applicants in Bread & Pastry Production NC II may apply in the Provincial Training Center-Jagna, Driving NC II, Motorcycle/Small Engine Servicing NC II, Carpenty NC II in PTC-Bilar, Electrical Installation & Maintenance NC II, Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC II and NC III (SMAW) and Masonry NC II in PTC-Inabanga. Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC I & II (SMAW) can also be availed at PTC-Pilar.

There are also three accredited private assessment centers in Bohol which will conduct the said program. Bohol Tech Voc., Inc. in Dao District, Tagbilaran City needs applicants for Bartending NC II, Food & Beverages Services NC II, Housekeeping NC II and Cookery NC II. Loboc Learning Center in Gotozon, Loboc, Bohol also needs applicants for Food & Beverages Services NC II and Housekeeping NC II, while Pharmacy Services NC II and Caregiving NC II can be availed at St. Martha Skills Training & Assessment Center, Inc. in E. Jacinto St., Tagbilaran City.
