The PRC Tagbilaran also extended their operations such as offering some free blood pressure taking to those who want to know their blood pressure status. The program had dismissed at around 4pm in the afternoon and it was so successful.

The participants felt good to be part of this activity where they not only can make a difference but one can help a lot to the foundation. The donation of blood ensured a huge impact to Department of Health. The department will surely have a lot of helping hands in the future.
According to the Wikipedia, Blood-letting is the withdrawal of blood from a patient to prevent or cure illness and disease. It was based on an ancient system of medicine in which blood and other bodily fluids were regarded as “humours” that had to remain in proper balance to maintain health. As what we have seems it is sort of a humanitarian help for those who would be needed it for the future such diseases as Malaria or Dengue infection.

The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) started its history via influence of Spaniards then until February 17, 1899 encouraged by Apolinario Mabini then on and on by our national heroes. Now, on our present time particularly on year 2004 they introduced the Chairmanship of Senator Richard “Dick” J. Gordon as actress Rosa Rosal sat as Board of Governor.
