About 120 exhibitors from Visayas and Mindanao eye to join the Sandugo Trade Expo in Bohol from July 19 to 23.
Trade and Industry Dept. Regional Director Asteria Cabertes said among the priority sectors joining the expo come from the sectors of furniture, fashion accessories, processed food and well as gift, decors, and houseware.
The week-long trade fair will be held at the Island City Mall in barangay Dao.
This year’s exhibit carry the theme of Partnering and Engaging for Change. It will feature reinterpretations of locally made products that focus on heritage, culture and environment protection through the use of sustainable and indigenous materials.
The expo is on its 12th year and has since expanded to places outside the Central Visayas region and reaching as far as the Caraga region in Mindanao.
Caberte told the Cebu Daily News said some of the graduates of DTI’s Kapatid Mentor Me program will also display their products at the fair.
The trade official said she hops the fair will launch the micro, small and medium enterprises and enable them to have products displayed in own mall-based outlets or on grocery store shelves.
