Police nab suspect for frustrated homicide

A hacking incident happened in Danao leading to the arrest of a suspect by the police on Thursday, reports said.

Police said a certain Jacinto Somosot, 38, an ex-convict hacked two victims.

Reports said the victims were hacked by the suspect allegedly at the patio of the victims’ home using a bladed weapon.

It was learned the suspect and the victims engaged in a heated argument.

The victims were brought to a nearby hospital and the suspect was arrested by the police after engaging in a hot pursuit operation.

The bladed weapon was recovered by the police as the suspect had been taken into custody.
