No big contraband in latest ‘grayhound’

No huge contraband was seen during the latest grayhound operation instigated by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology with help from different law enforcer agencies.

About 150 operatives from various law enforcement agency conducted the inspection after receiving intelligence reports that there was 2 kilos of alleged shabu being stored in the jail facility in Cabawan.

However, the inspection revealed only sharp objects and cellphones and no shabu.

It was also learned that there have been allegations of the jail has been the supplier of drugs in the province.

None of these are true since there were no illegal drugs found during the inspection.

Although, the inspection yielded some drug paraphernalia.
