Man drowns, dies in Loon waters

A man was found dead after presumably drowning in Loon waters yesterday, reports said.

Police received reports that a certain Alexander Pregunta was found dead and presumably drowned after he went fishing on Friday.

Reports said the victim went out to go fishing but was unable to return at about 11 am. Sensing something was wrong, relatives started to look for him and found the unconsious body floating near a fish pen at around 5 pm.

Due to bad weather, the local Bantay Dagat was only able to bring the body to the hospital at around 1 am on Saturday where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The doctor that took a look the body saw no signs of injury and foul play.
