Korean dies after drowning in a pool

A Korean reportedly died after he swam in a pool and drowned while on tour in Panglao.

The victim was identified as Yang Ji Man, 56, temporarily residing in Cebu.

Reports said the Korean national was swimming in a pool at around 11:30 in the evening last Wednesday in a resort in barangay Danao, Panglao.

After a while, a person discovered the tourist unconscious and floating.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead upon arrival.

Early reports said the victim died of drowning.
