Husband nabbed for threatening wife

A sales lady filed a complaint against her husband on Thursday in Carlos P. Garcia town, reports said.

The suspect was identified as Lito Nilles, 55, a fisherman, of barangay Canmangao, CPG town.

He was arrested following the complaint of the wife who was threatened by the suspect using a bolo.

Investigation revealed the man was under the influence of liquor and got into an argument with the wife.

The children woke up to the stammer of the husband saying, “Hawa mu diha kay basin mapiksan mu sa dugo sa inyong inahan!” the report said.

The suspect allegedly attempted to stab the victim with the bolo. Luckily, the wife was able to run for her life and escape.

The victim sought the help of the police who intervened and arrested the suspect for violation of the Anti-Violence Against Woman and Children.
