Gov Edgar Chatto urges everyone includung the local chief executives to maintain their adherence to the advocacy of the province of being business friendly.
The call comes at the heels of the awarding of the province of being the most business friendly province in the country.
The award was given by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) a couple of weeks ago.
Being the wave of the future, the business friendly tag is something Bohol should maintain by making it part of the culture.
With business forum formed by the provincial government, there is an outlet for business persons to air their grievances amid some reports that some towns are seemingly not business friendly.
The partners’ forum was held on Friday and the good news was shared.
The governor shared the timeline on how Bohol got the award and become the most business friendly province this year.
Businesses can provide suggestions to the government to improve the ease of doing business and to make the business climate in the province more conducive and friendlier.
The forum also allows the critique of certain practices in both the public and private sector and to do something about them.
The governor said the Sangguniang Panlalawigan also have disciplinary powers over the towns that may not provide a good business climate in their midst.
