Bohol kicks off crime prevention week fete

Bohol kicked off Thursday the regional celebration of the crime prevention week with a program at the Bohol Cultural Center

The celebration was touted as a thanksgiving to the numerous achievements of the security forces especially in keeping the peace in Bohol.

Gov. Edgar Chatto thanked the police and the military for their valuable contribution to the upkeep of the peace and order situation in the province.

The governor underscored vigilance of the community and values in the family as key to a unified approach to prevent and resolve disturbances to peace.

The program culminated with the unfurling of banner from different government agencies and simultaneous blowing of whistle.
