TURNOVER OF OYSTER CULTURE PROJECT. teamINABANGA Mayor Roygie Jumamoy led the distribution of the P300,000 worth of Oyster Culture Project to 20 fisherfolk beneficiaries of Sto. Niño Livelihood and Fishermen Association in Sto. Niño, Inabanga last August 29, 2017. Present during the activity were Bureau of Fish and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Aquaculturist II Eugenia Mayol, Municipal Agriculturist Ting-ting Torregosa, BFAR Aqua Technologist Henedino Carpio and the 20 fisherfolk members headed by the People’s Organization (PO) President Rainero A Betinol. A MOA signing between teamINABANGA and BFAR 7 Regional Director Allan Poquita was also held then followed by a 2-day training and demonstrations facilitated by Aqua Technologist Carpio on the proper way of establishing and running an oyster farm. This livelihood project is just one of the many implemented by teamINABANGA and will soon roll-out in other coastal barangays of Inabanga. (Inabanga Communications and News Service / ICoNS)
