City Mayor John GeesnellYap pose with the Department of Energy (DOE) and Philippine Information Agency’s (PIA) key personnel led by DOE Engr. Jorge Bitoon, Engr. Jonathan Ungab, Hazel Gloria, Jessie Ugaym, Bennie Sesibah, PIA Asst. Regional Director Fayette Riñen, Nelia Celada, Rey Anthony Chiu and Christine Bauzon. The team introduced the e-Trike. DOE wants to collaborate with local government units to place these environment-friendly vehicles to ensure clean technology and energy efficiency. Yap is open to the partnership, especially at this point in time, when the effects of climate change are being felt dramatically and there is an international clamor to reduce carbon emissions.
